Heritage Room at Mishawaka Library Opens Monday, October 25
The Heritage Room at the downtown Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library will open on Monday, October 25, 2021. The doors were closed to the room in March of 2020, and Monday will be the first time that library-goers will be able to step foot back in the room, which has a new name and a new purpose.
Renovated Common Area at Mishawaka Library Reopens
The Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library is excited to announce renovations to the Common Area inside the downtown Mishawaka Library are complete. The area will reopen to the public Monday, Sept. 13.

17th Annual River Bend Quilt Show at MPHPL
The River Bend Quilt Guild will be hosting their 17th annual Quilt Show at the Mishawaka Library over a three-day period next week starting on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021. Anyone who stops by the Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library during the three-day Quilt Show will be able to cast their vote for their favorite quilt.
Roz Puppets presents George and the Dragon at MPHPL
Roz Puppets – George and the Dragon was a spectacular hit at the Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library. Hundreds of children joined Roz Puppets for a whimsical retelling of a classic tale set in the times of dragons and enchanted creatures.
Celebrate the St. Joe
The Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library is honored to partner with WNIT Public Television this month in anticipation of their premiere documentary set to air on September 9, 2021 at 8 p.m. on Channel 34.1. The documentary is titled, Then, Now, and Always… The St. Joseph River Story.
