Borrowing Materials from Other Libraries
The Interlibrary Loan service is available to resident and non-resident-fee card holders for books the library does not own.
It usually takes 1-2 weeks to obtain materials through Interlibrary Loan. You will be notified through your preferred method of contact when your material is ready for pickup. The loan period is three weeks with no renewals.
We accept requests for print books only. We do not accept requests for materials newly published within the last 12 months, textbooks or reference materials. Most libraries will not loan new material or local history/genealogy material.
Most items are free of charge to our patrons; if a lending library attaches a fee, you will be notified and billed if the item is still desired. There is a $1.00 charge for ILL books not picked up within 5 days after they become available.
