Beloved Rabbit is Back on Display at Mishawaka Library

No matter if you called it bunny, rabbit, bunny rabbit or something else - there is no doubting the marble statue has been a fixture in the children’s section at the Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library for decades.

On Saturday, Nov. 13, Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library, in partnership with the South Bend Area Genealogical Society, will host a Scan-a-Thon at the downtown Mishawaka Library from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Heritage Room at Mishawaka Library Opens Monday, Oct. 25

The Heritage Room at the downtown Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library will open on Monday, October 25. The doors were closed to the room in March of 2020, and Monday will be the first time that library-goers will be able to step foot back in the room, which has a new name and a new purpose.
