COVID-19 Vaccine Information

Vaccine Scheduling and Registration:

See ourshot.in.gov for information about eligibility to receive the vaccine, vaccine safety, supply, and how to stop the spread of COVID-19.  Tips for scheduling and registration, shared by the Indiana Library Federation:

  • Scheduling – Name, date of birth, email/cell for texting, and ZIP code are all that is required. Goal is to help find a location and time that works for the person to get their vaccination.
  • Registration – Occurs after the appointment is scheduled, ideally prior to the appointment and arrival at the site. After receiving a text or email, the resident may enter their address, insurance information, and to complete the acknowledgement of the vaccine administration process and disclaimer, etc.

  • COVID Vaccine FAQ from 1/20/2021 from IN Dept. of Health
  • Quick tips from week of 1/13:
    • Telephone and online scheduling (ourshot.in.gov) are busiest 9am-3pm daily, which may cause a resident to select an appointment which will no longer be available by the end of the online interaction. If busy, try after 3pm ET.
    • Appointments are added regularly, so if a preferred site is full, check back regularly.
    • 2-1-1 takes schedules 8am-8pm ET (dial 2-1-1 or 1-866-211-9966).
