Thanksgiving Food and Fun

Thanksgiving Food and Fun
Thanksgiving began in 1621 as a shared meal between English colonists and Native Americans, and the expression of gratitude for their feast and successful harvest. Today, people enjoy this holiday in many different ways. We continue to celebrate by spending time with family and friends, cooking a celebratory meal, and thinking about the things in our lives for which we are grateful. Football, going out to a movie, long walks and other fun activities have also become part of the holiday for many people.
