The Heritage Room at the Mishawaka Library is considered the official designated Quiet Zone. Patrons visiting the Heritage Room are expected to respect the area conducive to reading. Electrical outlets with USB charging ports are available to power devices. Dozens of newspapers and magazines are housed in the area. MPHPL Wi-Fi allows visitors to access up to 7,000 worldwide publications via the PressReader app, free to all MPHPL cardholders.

Bittersweet Branch

The Magazines & Newspapers room at the Bittersweet Branch is the designated quiet zone for this library location. Comfortable seating, side tables and great lighting allow for easy reading enjoyment. Enjoy the periodicals in the room or bring in a good book to read. If you prefer using a tablet or smartphone, Wi-Fi access allows visitors access to the Libby app, free to all MPHPL cardholders, which is home to thousands of eBooks and eAudiobooks.
