The Mishawaka Library is partnering with the South Bend Area Genealogical Society to host a first-ever Scan-a-Thon!
On Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021, the Mishawaka-Penn-Harris Public Library, in partnership with the South Bend Area Genealogical Society, will host a Scan-a-Thon at the downtown Mishawaka Library from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The public is encouraged to bring in a few physical documents or photos that they would like digitized. Our MPHPL staff, along with South Bend Area Genealogical Society employees and volunteers, are excited to hold this inaugural Scan-a-Thon! The four-hour event will be held in the Eisen Room on the lower level of the Mishawaka Library. Several methods of scanning will be demonstrated, and multiple scanners will be set up to get guests started on their digitizing journey.
No registration is required and no prior knowledge of scanning is needed.
