What is a Discovery Pass?
A Discovery Pass allows access to family-friendly educational experiences. Library cardholders are able to check out a digital Discovery Pass online and use it without needing to visit a library location.
Who Can Check Out a Discovery Pass?
The following library card types are eligible* to check out a Discovery Pass:
- Unlimited Adult
- Digital Adult
- Educator
- Non-Resident
*Note: Cardholder must be in good standing to reserve a pass.
How it Works
- Check if a Discovery Pass is available on the library’s website or at any library location. A pass can be checked out up to two weeks in advance.
- If a pass is available, library cardholders can reserve a pass with a timed receipt. This can either be printed out or presented digitally on a phone at a partner location.
- Each pass is valid only for the day listed on the pass, and only one active reservation is allowed at a time. This pass is not valid for special events.
- Library cardholders will present an ID with the pass when visiting, and IDs must match the name on the pass.

- If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the library at (574) 259-5277.
- Due to the limited number of passes available, each cardholder is limited to one pass checkout every thirty (30) days.
- Borrower agrees (a) that MPHPL is not the agent of our digital pass partners; (b) that MPHPL has no control over the experience that Borrower will partake in; and (c) that Borrower assumes any and all risks associated with using the pass.
